How to tie PVA bags
...and avoid tangles
Here's a quick tip from Kodex angler James Higgins for tying PVA mesh bags.
1) Take some Kodex Meltz 40mm
PVA mesh, and fill the tube with a handful of your preferred bait.
2) Instead of cutting off right at the knot, cut 2 inches above the knot.
3) Pass the hook through the underside of the knot, as this will be the strongest point on the PVA bag, making it nearly impossible to come off during the cast.
4) With the extra 2 inches of PVA mesh, give it a quick lick to become tacky, and whip the mesh around the hair and the hook. This will keep your bait nice and tight to the hook and will prevent tangles during the cast.
